ElBaradei kecamkenyataan Hosni

KAHERAH 2 Feb. – Tokoh pembangkang Mesir, Mohamed ElBaradei menyifatkan Presiden Hosni Mubarak gagal memenuhi kehendak rakyat dan ‘jaminannya’ untuk tidak bertanding pada pilihan raya Presiden nanti, hanyalah satu penipuan semata-mata.
Penerima Hadiah Nobel Keamanan dan bekas Ketua Pengarah Agensi Tenaga Atom Antarabangsa (IAEA) itu berkata, Mubarak akan menjadi ‘Presiden yang pincang dan ditimpa malang’ sekiranya beliau tetap tidak mahu berundur.
“Beliau malangnya akan memanjangkan lagi penderitaan dalam tempoh enam hingga tujuh bulan lagi. Beliau terus memecah belahkan negara. Beliau membuatkan rakyat terus marah dan ia boleh berakhir dengan keganasan,” katanya dalam satu wawancara dengan CNN.
Elbaradei yang muncul sebagai reformis Mesir turut menggelar Mubarak sebagai ‘seorang diktator yang tidak mahu mendengar suara rakyat’.
Katanya, tindakan Presiden itu yang mengumumkan keenggannya untuk berundur ‘jelas satu penipuan semata-mata’.
“Sesiapa pun yang menasihat Mubarak, orang itu memberi nasihat yang salah kepada beliau. Beliau hanya perlu berundur,” katanya.
Sementara itu, parti pembangkang utama Mesir, Ikhwanul Muslimin mengecam kenyataan Mubarak yang tidak akan bertanding pada pilihan raya Presiden akan datang dengan alasan mahu memantau peralihan kuasa dalam keadaan aman.
Jurucakap parti tersebut, Mohammed Mursi berkata, tawaran itu langsung tidak memenuhi kehendak seorang pun daripada rakyat Mesir. – Reuters
